'Karoto' is a carrot peeler and sharpener designed by Israeli designer, Avichai Tadmor. The humble pencil sharpener has been upscaled to be a funky kitchen tool that will surely make eating vegetables fun. The idea is to shave the carrots (or other cylindrical vegetables) to decorate salads or to create a new experience for kids to enjoy eating vegetables. I want to buy one for the novelty of it, but I'm sure it would end up as another kitchen drawer filler. Creative idea though. Found here.
