Marian Bantjes is another speaker that I saw at Semi-Permanent, this time in Auckland in 2008. I guess you would classify her as both a typographer and an illustrator but her attention to detail is amazing. Some of the work she produces makes you wonder how steady her hands must be and how sharp her eyes are. Her works range in style but always seem to have some sort of wow factor.
