As a lover of packaging and the overall look and tactile quality of wooden products, I am pleased that there has been an increase in the combination of the two. While packaging made out of or featuring wood has a 'premium' aspect to it, it also sets a standard where the canvas is actually a piece of art in itself. With all the different varieties/species showcasing different colours, textures and patterns, it is no wonder that people are starting to appreciate wood for the natural resource that it is. The simplest of designs can be launched into greatness with a strong visual foundation of the intricate nature of a particular grain which lends itself to a feeling of authenticity and quality.
