Technology hey? Who would have thought that we could be creating 3D tangible objects using the same fundamentals as merely drawing a picture. When I first saw this the first thing that came to mind was a glue gun. That being said, I doubt that the humble glue gun could create such finesse and holding capabilities without ending up in a pile of goo. As 3Doodler draws, it forces out heated plastic, which quickly cools and solidifies into a strong stable structure. This is what enables you to essentially draw in the air without it collapsing. Whether this be a fad or a booming success, the 3Doodler is proof of where technology is leading us and like most new little gadgets, I want one! Found here.
