Australian artist Rena Littleson-Montenegro has created a series of perspective drawings called the '10 day bender' series. Her explanation of this series goes as follows. We live in a society where children are exposed to and encouraged to imitate the violent, abusive and sexual behaviour of adults. At the same time, adults turn to drugs and alcohol to regain a childlike sense of escape, innocence and fun. This series of drawings explores the ironic link between childhood and adulthood through satirical, violent yet playful, absurd and perhaps disturbing imagery.
