Underwater Music
Neptune by FINIS, Northern California is a waterproof MP3 player that provides the highest quality sound in the water without the use of ear buds. That might sound absurd, but Neptune uses revolutionary Bone Conduction audio transmission to transmit crystal clear audio through the cheekbone directly into the inner ear. The 3-piece design has 2 side speakers and a high contrast screen that sits comfortably on the back of the head. The screen shows the song, artist and play status. Neptune attaches securely to goggle straps and rests on the cheekbones as to not interfere with swimming technique.Who knew that 'bone conduction' technology existed? Found here.
Coding Flash Cards
As a mostly self taught web designer, coding is something that can be equally frustrating and rewarding. I came across these coding flash cards and wish I had of had them early on. Now I'm not overly proficient in web design, so I shall still be utilizing these minimalistic reminders. This work of Greek designer Constantinos Papaconstantinouis simple yet clever and if spread far enough, I'm sure will be able to help many new designers. Found here.
World Scratch Map
As someone who has seen a little bit of the world (not nearly as much as I would like), I really love this idea. The Scratch Map is a 81.9 x 58.2 cm world map with a top layer of gold foil. This foil can be scratched off of a certain city or country once you have visited. Scratching lotto scratchies is fun, so I guess this would take it to the next level when you get to experience a whole new place before you get the extra satisfaction of scratching. I think the aim of the map would be to have as much of the gold scratched off as possible. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Found here.

Rhino Tiger Bear
Rhino Tiger Bear is a project that has been beautifully crafted by Jimmy Gleeson, a Melbourne-based art director/designer. The family owned and run vineyard based out of Shoreham on the Mornington Peninsula, Australia, has an interesting story when it comes to the brand's name and aesthetic. "The name was born from parents Rhiannon and Owen, and their boys Tiger & Bear. Owen has a history in wine making with a acute eye for detail and measured approach. Rhiannon on the other hand is the ball of energy doing laps through the vineyard. The resulting Rhino Tiger Bear brand aims to fuse these two aspects of considered restraint vs vibrant fun." I love the geometric feel and also think the colour palette is extremely successful. Keep an eye out for their great wines and ciders being released in Spring 2013. Found here.
